Profession

  • “Almost 40 years ago, I had the privilege of coaching Steve at Kent State, where he became a three-time All-MAC selection and co-captain his senior year. While I’m proud of his accomplishments as a player and teacher, I’m even more proud of the leader he has become. As a PGA Golf Professional and in his service to PGA governance, Steve has demonstrated integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to serving others. He is one of the least political people I know and is always willing to step forward and help.”

  • I’m proud to say I was Steve’s first employer in the golf business. At 17, he worked as the shop assistant and his energy, work ethic, and enthusiasm stood out at Club Walden. Over the years, I’ve watched him grow into a thoughtful leader who takes the time to listen and works to make those around him better. I’m confident Steve is the best person to serve as our next PGA Secretary. His energy and enthusiasm will strengthen our brand and Association.
